MRBM Consultants & Mercaturi Solutions have designed & developed a pricing utility which will work in Evolution & Partner 2009.

Why?
An MRBM customer wanted to automate the adjustment of all volume prices by a fixed percentage or amount, which was always a manual process, time consuming and prone to human error.

How we helped
Using our knowledge of the Pastel database structure, we partnered with a local developer to create a plug-in which would allow our client to increase prices by a percentage or a fixed amount across the board, without affecting any customer specific pricing information.
Now available to all Pastel Evolution or Partner Clients.

The Pricing Utility works with Pastel Evolution and Pastel Partner 2009 and can be used to adjust prices and deal with the following scenarios:

1) Adjust (increase or decrease) the unit price of an inventory item or inventory group by a percentage or fixed amount you select. The adjustment is calculated off the base unit price charged for that customer.
2) Adjust the Inclusive or Exclusive unit price amounts.
3) Set a minimum & maximum unit price for an item. (eg. increase the unit price by 10 % but don’t go over a set amount and ensure that there is a minimum unit price.)
4) Round to the nearest 5 cents.
5) Choose the end date of a price change.

In Evolution there are additional features:

1) Update the unit prices on your templates & sales orders for that customer.

Pricing:

Evolution Price Utility = R 9120 incl VAT plus Annual License Fee = R 2 750 incl VAT

Partner Price Utility = R 4 450 incl VAT Annual License Fee = R1 335 incl VAT
