MISSION AND GOALS
Summary
Added Advantage Academy is a Computer Training company specialising in the training of computer software on personal computers. Training is provided to individuals and corporate clients.
We provide training at our premises or at the individual /corporate premises if this is requested and aids the learning process
Mission
Added Advantage Academy strives to provide a high standard of training where the focus is on personalised training and a high retention of learning. We strive to achieve this by keeping our training classes to a maximum of 10 learners.
Formative Assessments are completed at the end of each section and a final assessment is completed by participants at the end of the training.
We are provisionally accredited with ISETT SETA. We currently offer short courses which are aligned with the unit standard found in the National Certificate : Information Technology: End User Computing.
We are an International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) training and testing center.
Learners can receive local or internationally recognized certification at Added Advantage Academy.
Added Advantage Academy is a training organisation which promotes the attainment of credits on completion of the aligned courses attended at Added Advantage.
We will use training material aligned to the unit standards (either created by Added Advantage or purchased from an accredited courseware organization such as Learning Resources.)
Trainers will be registered assessors.
Formative Assessments will be carried out during the course attended.
Summative Assessments will be done every Friday.
